Loan equipment during the entire repair period
We have a range of over 200 loan devices from well-known manufacturers such as Pentax, Olympus and Fujinon. For a small flat rate, we provide you with high-quality loan equipment for the entire duration of your endoscope repair so that you do not have to postpone important examinations.
Thanks to our large stock of loan devices, in most cases we can provide you with an identical device or an instrument with the same range of functions for the duration of the repair. In the unlikely event that this should not be possible, we will organise an adequate replacement device that meets your requirements in consultation with you.

1Repair order and pick-up
As soon as we receive your repair order, we will arrange for a courier service to pick up your defective device for endoscopy repair or ultrasound probe repair at your desired location and hand it over to us by express delivery.
2Loan device by express delivery
On request, we will send you an adequate loaner device by express delivery for the entire duration of the repair of your instrument in order to avoid unnecessary downtime.
3Detailed damage analysis and costs for repair
We offer expert fault diagnosis and in-depth analysis of your defective instruments. Using detailed photographic documentation, we will create a personalised quote for the repair of your device.
4Repair
We use all the experience gained from developing our in-house devices to offer you ultrasound probe and endoscopy repair services. Once an order is placed, we immediately begin repairing your instruments.
5Express returns
After the successful endoscopy repair by our trained specialists, we put your instrument through its paces before sending it back to the address of your choice by express delivery.
6Collection of the rental device
We use all the experience gained from the development of our in-house devices to offer you ultrasound probe and endoscopy repairs at manufacturer level. Once the order has been placed, we start repairing your instruments immediately.
7We advise you on endoscopy repair

Althea provides a 6-month guarantee on repairs to all appliances carried out by our specialist staff.
What does a loaner device cost during the endoscope repair?
We charge a lump sum for loan equipment in order to constantly expand our stock of loan endoscopes. The device is available to you for the entire repair period. The rental equipment fee covers the running costs for our large pool of constantly available and optimally maintained rental endoscopes. It enables us to constantly expand our stock and always provide you with a suitable device in perfect condition.

Why does Althea charge a rental device fee?
The rental device fee covers the running costs for our large pool of constantly available and optimally maintained rental endoscopes. It enables us to constantly expand our inventory and always provide you with a suitable device in perfect condition

How long can I use rental equipment?
Our loan appliances are available to you for the entire duration of the repair. Where possible, we will always send you identical loan appliances so that you can continue your work undisturbed. If this is not possible, we will send you compatible devices with approximately the same characteristics by arrangement.

Are images taken of any damage to the endoscope or ultrasound probe?
To ensure maximum transparency, we produce image documentation for every appliance in our specialised workshop, in which we record any existing damage in detail. We make these available to you in full together with the cost estimate.
How quickly will I receive an estimate for the endoscope repair?
We will provide you with an estimate of the repair costs within 2 to 3 working days. If you require a loaner appliance, please let us know in good time so that we can provide you with one immediately after collecting your faulty appliance.
