to the HF devices

What is electrosurgery?

Electrosurgery (also known as HF surgery) refers to the use of high-frequency alternating current in surgery. This generates heat in the tissue in order to cut it precisely or to stop bleeding through targeted coagulation. For doctors, this technique offers more efficient workflows, while for patients it means less stress and faster healing.

What is an RF device?

An HF device (high-frequency device) is used in electrosurgery. These devices operate with high-frequency alternating current to enable precise cuts and targeted coagulation. There are various types of devices:

  • Basic devices are suitable for smaller applications (cutting and simple coagulation), e.g. in dermatology or dentistry.
  • High-performance systems offer several coagulation modes (e.g. gentle coagulation, spray coagulation) and are suitable for more complex procedures and different types of tissue, e.g. in general surgery or plastic surgery.
  • Monopolar and bipolar devices: With bipolar application, coagulation is more precise and gentler on tissue, while monopolar devices are used for larger areas.
For which specialist areas are HF devices suitable?

HF devices are established in many areas: general surgery, dermatology, ENT, gynaecology and plastic surgery. Thanks to various operating modes and accessories, they can be precisely adapted to the respective application.

What are the advantages of HEBU HF devices?

HEBU Medical has many years of proven expertise in high-frequency electrosurgery. The HF devices are designed for maximum precision. Thanks to various operating modes – monopolar and bipolar – they can be used flexibly in a wide range of surgical disciplines.

In addition, HEBU offers a perfectly coordinated range of accessories, from electrodes and handles to special instruments, which optimally complement the devices for almost any application scenario.
